Next step is to download the windows operating system as per your machine capabilities. If your machine is a 64 BIT frame then you ought to download windows specially made for 64 BIT computers and if your machine is 32 BIT framed then you will need to download windows operating system for 32 BIT computers tho in some cases there are computer and laptops that use both 32 and 64 BIT systems.

3. Open the Rufus desktop utility by [ opening as administrator]
and prepare a USB drive that is at least 4 GB but most recommended 8 GB.
Plug in your USB into your computer and follow the ON SCREEN instructions as provided by Rufus.
Follow the simple instructions as the Rufus interface is very user friendly even to newbies. Please dont tick any extra boxes unless you are sure of what you are doing.
Next you will have to wait for the process to be completed then eject the USB dive from the computer. You might want to search google on how to boot your specific computer to the boot selection menu so power off the computer and INSERT the USB drive again.
Fully power down your PC and make sure it has come to a complete halt. Press the power button on your computer and wait for the screen with the manufacturer's logo to finish. As soon as the logo screen goes away, begin to repeatedly tap (not press and keep pressed) the F8 key on your keyboard.
This will get you to the advanced boot menu which you will select boot from [ YOUR USB DRIVE]
you will then select which partition of the hard drive you want to install the new windows as a computer allows you to have up to 3 OPERATING SYSTEMS depending on your partitions and disk size.
you will select custom install and select next to proceed.
Please note that during the installation process, your computer might restart several times.
You will then get a windows welcome screen and then continue setting up your windows and you can get a product key by searching for one online as they are quite common these days.
